Introduction

Welcome to FindShiba!, developed by Mario Saputra. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you when you use our iOS application and related services.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not serve third-party ads in our apps, and we do not use your information for cross-app advertising.

Information We Collect

User-Provided Information

We do not directly collect or store personal information on our servers. However, when you use certain features of the app:

Game Information: Puzzle progress, scores, achievements, hint balances, settings, language, sound preferences, board-style choices, and onboarding status are stored on your device so the game can continue where you left off.
Photos: If you choose to save a FindShiba! profile card, the app requests add-only Photos permission and writes that image to your library. The app does not read your existing photos.
Notifications: If you allow notifications, FindShiba! schedules a local reminder on your device after a quiet day. These notifications are generated on the device and are not sent through a remote notification server.
Home Screen Widget: If you add the FindShiba! widget, puzzle state for Today and Practice boards is stored locally on your device.
Device Information: Basic device information and an anonymous, randomly generated user identifier may be processed for app functionality, such as managing your purchases (see "In-App Purchase Processing" below)

Use of Third-Party Services

FindShiba! shares certain data with third-party service providers to enable core functionality of the app. Before using this app, you must understand and consent to the following third-party data sharing practices:

In-App Purchase Processing

RevenueCat: In-app purchases and subscription management are processed through RevenueCat, a third-party service.

Data Shared: Purchase history, subscription status, and device identifiers
Purpose: To manage subscriptions, process payments, and provide premium features

Apple (Refund Processing)

Data Shared with Apple: We may share data regarding your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple.

Data Shared: Details about how you have accessed and interacted with purchased content
Purpose: To help Apple make informed decisions regarding refund requests you initiate
Legal Basis: This sharing is done in compliance with Apple's policies and only as necessary to process your requests

iCloud (Apple)

iCloud Key-Value Store: If you are signed in to iCloud, the app may sync a small set of values such as hint balances, the month a Pro hint grant was last applied, and a stable purchase identifier.

Data Shared: Hint balances and purchase-related identifiers stored in your iCloud account and associated with your Apple ID
Purpose: To restore purchases and hint balances after a reinstall or on a second device
Data Control: Your iCloud data is governed by Apple's iCloud and privacy practices. You can manage iCloud access in iOS Settings.

Game Center (Apple)

Game Center: If you use Game Center, Apple authenticates your Game Center / Apple Account. The app may read your public Game Center alias or display name and report achievement progress and Total Score to Apple's Game Center leaderboards and achievements.

Data Shared: Your public Game Center alias or display name, achievement progress, and Total Score
Purpose: To show leaderboards and achievements. Game Center sign-in is optional. You can play without it.
Data Control: Public alias and score visibility follow your Apple Game Center settings.

Your Consent and Data Sharing

Explicit Consent Requirement: By using FindShiba!, you explicitly consent to the sharing of your data (including usage information) with the third-party services listed above. This consent is required because:

Payment processing requires third-party services to manage subscriptions
You have the right to know where your data is being sent and how it will be used

If you do not consent to this third-party data sharing, you should not use this app.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with third-party providers where it is necessary to operate the app and its features, and we select providers that are contractually required to protect your information in line with applicable laws.

Data Retention

Our Data Retention: We do not retain personal data on our servers.

On-device game data remains until you delete the app or clear it through iOS settings. iCloud Key-Value values remain while your Apple Account keeps them, or until you delete them.

Purchase and subscription records are retained by our payment processing providers (RevenueCat and Apple) for as long as necessary to provide your purchases and comply with legal obligations.

Disclaimer on FindShiba!

While we strive to provide a reliable puzzle experience, FindShiba! is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device.

Your Rights and Choices

Right to Not Use the App: If you do not consent to the third-party data sharing described in this Privacy Policy, your only option is to not use the app.

You can play without enabling Game Center, notifications, Photos access, iCloud, or the Home Screen widget. You can manage, restore, or cancel App Store subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
