FindShiba! Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to the FindShiba! iOS app published by Mario Saputra, including optional FindShiba! Pro features. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. The browser game at ShibaDoku.com has separate website Terms of Service.

1. The app

FindShiba! is a logic puzzle game for iPhone. You may use it for personal, lawful purposes. You are responsible for using a compatible Apple device and a current supported version of iOS.

The core campaign can be played without paying. Optional FindShiba! Pro features may be offered through the App Store.

2. Optional features

Game Center. Leaderboards and Apple achievements require Game Center / Apple Account sign-in. Gameplay still works if you decline. Public alias and score visibility follow your Apple Game Center settings.

Notifications. If you allow them, the app may schedule a local reminder after a quiet day. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings.

Home Screen widget. You may add a FindShiba! widget to play Today or Practice puzzles from the Home Screen. Widget progress is stored on your device.

Photos. Saving a profile card is optional and uses add-only Photos access.

3. FindShiba! Pro

FindShiba! Pro unlocks extra board characters, additional background music, unlimited random puzzles, Auto mark X, and 100 hints at the start of each calendar month while Pro is active. Access is granted through the "pro" entitlement, not a specific product, so monthly, annual, and lifetime purchases unlock the same catalog.

Plans currently offered in the app may include:

Monthly subscription — billed every month until canceled.
Annual subscription — billed every year until canceled. A free trial may be offered; the paywall shows the trial length and the price after the trial before you confirm.
Lifetime purchase — a one-time payment that unlocks Pro without a recurring charge.

The price, currency, billing period, trial length, and renewal terms shown in the App Store purchase sheet control the transaction. Display prices in the app are localized by Apple and may change.

4. Payment, renewal, and cancellation

Payment is charged to your Apple Account through the App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not usually refund the current paid period unless Apple or applicable law requires otherwise.

If a free trial is offered, unused trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, unless Apple's rules say otherwise. After a trial, the subscription converts to a paid plan at the price shown unless you cancel first.

Restore Purchases reconnects Pro to the Apple Account that bought it. Purchases are tied to that Apple Account and are generally non-transferable.

Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to App Store billing. If these terms and Apple's standard EULA conflict on payment, renewal, or refunds, Apple's terms control those points.

5. Digital features

Hints, characters, music tracks, random puzzles, and other Pro features are digital items for personal use. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money, unless applicable law requires otherwise. We may change, add, or retire a feature. If a material paid feature becomes unavailable, contact [email protected] so we can review the situation.

6. Acceptable use

You may not abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, cheat, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its services. You may not interfere with Game Center, purchases, or another person's use of FindShiba!.

7. Ownership

FindShiba!, including its game, software, artwork, characters, music, branding, text, and other content, is owned by or licensed to Mario Saputra and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms give you permission to use the app; they do not transfer ownership or grant rights to reproduce or commercially exploit our content.

8. Availability and termination

We may update, maintain, or temporarily suspend the app. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, our players, or our rights, including when these terms are violated. Any terms that by their nature should continue will remain effective after termination.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FindShiba! is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mario Saputra will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app or a purchase.

How FindShiba! handles information is described in the FindShiba! Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as FindShiba! grows and new services become available. The updated version will be posted on this page. If a change materially affects an active paid subscription, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice before it takes effect.
