1. Information we collect

Game information. When you play, we may store a randomly generated anonymous player identifier, the player name you choose, puzzle progress, scores, achievements, and game session information such as the level played and timing needed to verify scores and prevent abuse.

Browser storage. The game stores preferences and local progress in your browser, including your current level, completed levels, player name, language, and sound settings. You can remove this information through your browser settings, but doing so may erase local progress.

Advertising information. If you purchase an advertising placement or submit an advertisement, we collect the contact email, advertising details, creative URLs, destination URL, and campaign status needed to review and operate the placement.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive limited transaction and subscription information, such as Stripe customer, checkout, and subscription identifiers and payment status. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

Technical information. Our hosting, security, and infrastructure providers may process information such as IP address, browser, device, and request logs to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site.

DataFast cookieless analytics. We use DataFast's cookieless analytics to measure visits and understand how people use ShibaDoku. It does not use DataFast analytics cookies, but may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, user agent, country, referring pages, page activity, visit timing, and information needed to provide aggregate analytics. We use this information for analytics and product improvement, not for selling personal information or building advertising profiles. DataFast acts as our processor for this service. 2. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, secure, and improve ShibaDoku.
• Save progress, operate rankings, verify completed puzzles, and prevent cheating or abuse.
• Process purchases, subscriptions, cancellations, refunds, and advertising placements.
• Respond to support requests, feedback, and collaboration inquiries.
• Measure site views, completed puzzles, and aggregate usage so we can improve the game.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, users, and services.

3. How information is shared

We share information with service providers that help us operate the site, such as hosting and database providers, payment processor Stripe, DataFast for analytics, and infrastructure or security providers. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services or comply with law.

Player names and scores may be displayed publicly on the ShibaDoku rankings. If you click an advertisement, you leave ShibaDoku and visit the advertiser's destination. That destination has its own privacy practices, which we do not control.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the safety, security, rights, and property of ShibaDoku.com, our users, or others.

4. Stripe, DataFast, and external services

Checkout and billing are provided by Stripe. Stripe may collect and process payment and contact information under its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing the privacy information shown during checkout and Stripe's policies before purchasing.

DataFast's cookieless analytics is loaded on site pages to measure usage and improve the game. The game may still use essential browser storage and game cookies for local preferences, progress, rankings, and security.

The site also links to external services such as X and advertiser websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of external services.

5. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including operating rankings, supporting customers, handling subscriptions, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting legal or accounting requirements. Local browser data remains under your control.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Your choices and requests

You can clear local game storage through your browser settings. You can also contact us to ask about the personal information associated with your support request, advertising purchase, player information, or DataFast analytics, or to request correction or deletion where applicable law provides that right.

7. Children's privacy

ShibaDoku is not directed at children under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

We may update this policy as ShibaDoku and our services change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date when appropriate. Your continued use of the site after an update means the updated policy applies to future use.
